Variable playback speed, radio quality?

I consider buying the T9 because I really like having the option to play back at a different speed. Has anyone tried it and how is the sound quality, particularly when slowed down?

Also, can anyone comment if the radio is actually usable, or that (stereo) reception is noisy much of the time?

I actually listen to radio once in a while you can even record it with different quality. Reception is pretty nice. Playiing back at a different speed is pretty nice though I rarely use it for fast rap music. up to +3 and -3

Playing fast would be good for audiobooks especially when the reader sounds like he is in a coma.
