UK customs are a joke. so slow but they finally released it and I got it today!
just done a little video with me playing around with it for the first time. Might put in youtube or dunno if I should wait and do a proper video once I know what the player can do??

hey love the pix but i think u should post a "first impressions" video and then a full review later, but not to late
 , once u know wat it does and how it works but other then that congrats u lucky dude and how sensitive is the screen

I was pretty excited about this player.... almost ordered it but the photo viewer responsiveness was a turnoff  . Hopefully there will be a firmware upgrade soon.

kobashi.... few questions guy...
what resolution are the pics you loaded.... how much faster were the preloaded pics. Did you have to convert your videos... or load as is. Can you bookmark the text files? How many playlists can you have... can you create them on the fly? Is the battery life as good as stated? lastly will the player work as UMS... just drop and drag files (mac user)?

You have to use Iriver plus although I havent tried using Media Monkey or Widows Media Player to create playlists. You can create a quicklist on the fly. I am just looking at the resolution of the pics and they are 2816x2112 so kinda big files. And yes you can just drag and drop with this player. I'm jealous, kobashi. My P7 will be here wednesday. I've been hoping Cowon would add h.264 playback to it's S9 since I've got a slew of videos in that format. They haven't yet, though. Have you tried any h.264 files on yours yet?
