Default Home-built stereo
My dad built this stereo system years ago, it's a 2.1 system (subwoofer not pictured) and aparrently the speakers themselves cost about $600 total (not incuding the sub), he hand crafted them out of ironbark wood and then installed the drivers/tweeters.

This is a pictue of one of the speakers (other is identical):



that's a motorbike in the background for size reference :P

I don't really know a lot about this setup but it sounds really nice, and can be insanely loud without distortion.

TBH I am not sure exactly what brand speakers they are or anything like that.. I just thought it might be something interesting to show on this forum.

I guess they have nice mid and high range, but the bass is definitely the strongest point. Like I said they are LOUD, so they're good for parties because we don't have to move them to where the guests are
