My first re-cable. Senn EH150 (updated)

So i was bored after dinner and decided even if i don't have a 3.5mm plug right now I'm going to see if my old Sennheiser EH150 with the right side out was actually the cable or the driver.

The cable is just old stinger car audio cable i bought in 10 years ago in high school when i was into car audio. Sleeved it in this cloth stuff and terminated with a couple rca ends i had sitting around.

It was the cable! They work just as well as ever, i missed these they have solid bass just like i remembered.

I hope to order a bunch of Neutrik 3.5mm ends to finish this, but i will probably recable these again with a less stiff cable, but they are great like this!

Gah it's going to be 7 days or so till i get the damn 3.5mm connectors in the mail.

Now that i realized how easy it is, a friend wants me to recable his 15 year old koss cans lol. Should be fun he wore those all through grade 7 and 8, i wish i kept mine this long.

Hehe, i need to take apart the amp and change all the caps and clean the pot because it crackles, should be like a new amp in a week hehe.
