Yeah i don't get scared that easily. But The Hills Have Eyes weirded me out. Course, i only caught the tail end of it, and had no clue what was going on haha

Yeh. Give "Audition" a shot. It is one if the Japanese films. It will have you thinking twice or more about bringing a young girl home.

Wire saw and cutting off feet. Need I say more?

LOL...Audition is one of my fave films, and also perhaps my fave Takashi Miike production. Truly, he is a twisted genius!

Didn't go through this entire thread and not going to get into a political debate, but I must contribute several of Michael Moore's films for the title of scariest/creepiest movie ever.

Oh and yes...Supersize Me... ;-)

Not "jump out of your pants" scary but very disturbing and in that way more creepy than most horror films is Ken Russell's The Devils from 1971. As far as I know it has not been released on DVD. I got a bootleg DVD which from a not very good VHS source. Also all released versions are heavily edited due to the subject (Christianity and demon possession) It is still a very disturbing film that leaves you thinking about the depths of vileness and madness the human mind can sink into.

The film is based on Aldoux Huxley's book "The Devils of Loudun" which in turn is based on a true event in 17th century France. I read the book first and then wanted to see the movie. I advice anyone reading this thread to watch this movie. Some special effects may be a bit cheesy seeing this is from 1971, but the story is so much stronger than most of the trite they show in the cinema nowadays.

Watched Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 a while ago. He is a twisted man, but gerat at making horror haha
Oh, and Laid To Rest= horrid movie. Pathetic storyline, bad acting, all around cheesy movie.

I have a pretty damn high tolerance for just about everything, so it's hard to make a list with a lot on it hehe.

Amityville Horror (That ghost in the mirror got me)

And these are woah moments I concur there is nothing scary. There was some evil tooth fairy movie that I can't remember....anyways.

Creepiest movie? It was years ago I saw it, but it definitely disturbed me that day.....

For me, the scariest film I've ever seen would be The Shining. So beautiful, yet so horrifying.

^ yeah The Shining for sure. Scared the shit out of me when I was a kid.

Pet Cematary has some of the creepiest scenes of all time..... Zelda the sister of Rachel! Still sends chills up my spine and makes my hairs stand on end!!


The original Night Of The Living dead is pretty damn creepy. I inherited my dad's 35mm Living Dead film and his movie projectors from the 70's. Nothing like kicking back with a movie on the projector... something about the sound of the machine and watching it on your wall.

Phantasm is one of my favorite movies and scared the hell out of me when I saw it in the 70's as kid. Not so scary as an adult but still love it.

there's quite a few more I'll list when I get more time.
