Sony NWZ-A818 is a tank.

I have the A818, 8GB walkman video, and im not sure what generation that is in so im throwing it in here. Moving on...

I have had this player for a lil over 2 years, i use it on the way to school every morning, at lunch and study hall, and then on the way home from school. I use it at friends houses, on trips. Not that im not careful, but this thing has been dropped onto hardwood/tile/(insert hard floor here) etc. floors. It does have scratches on the screen but only small ones, everything is still legible, the back and top are a little beat up. but my point is that i do EVERYTHING with this little guy...and it still performs top notch. I take the freaking thing dirt biking. and im not a clean, play it safe dirt biker, i jump, ride trail, mud puddles, you name it ill jump it or go through it. so this thing has been through water, sand, dropped, both screws in the back have fallen out.

the only thing wrong with it is that because the screws fell out the screen sometimes changes colors, like everything gets a little red tint to it, but that's fixed by just tapping the bottom of the player and it goes away.

so my point is this thing survives A LOT. i have honestly never once had to hard reset it. and it's SQ is as always with sony, awesome.

what about you guys? are your players tanks like mine?
