16gb D2 3.59 Update Questions (DRM LICENSE FILE / REMOVE DICT)

Hi,
I just updated the 3.59 and see a file on the player called DRM LICENSE also also I can no longer find the DRM setting in the player that the 2.57 version had so does this possibly replace it?

Also I have no use for the Dict I was wondering if I could remove it? I did post the question before and I was told that i could just remove the POWERDIC folder and that would remove it and the D2 Screen Dict Icon?

no, you can only remove the Dictionary... not the Dictionary icon in the Main Menu. i think the DRM Protected Files feature has been removed? not sure.

So I might as well leave it in correct? Also what does the dict actually do? Convery Korean to English?? I did DL the PowerDic and PowerDIc Lite to my PC but have not installed it yet as I was unsure if I needed it for anything and did not want to waste the room plus was also unsure that if I did that I may not be able to uninstall it.

I just about have the D2 filled back up now and do not want to expreiment at this point unless I get some info......

It's Korean-English and English-English. You just select which one you want in the Dict submenu called "Type" on your player. It's pretty cool to have and the lite version doesn't take up any noticeable room in the big scheme.

3.xx firmwares have the dictionary icon on the main screen, no way around it.

Only 2.xx firmwares are capable of supporting WMA DRM via MTP mode, so you can't use 3.xx for those online bought files.

Ok is there a way I can get rid of the 3.59 w/o loosing all my music that I just installed and go back to a 2.XX??????

TBH - if you don't know what a file or folder is for DON'T TOUCH IT!!!! Unless you'd like to possibly brick a player.

To go back, just install the 1 & 2 folder contents, and skip the 0 folder. This will revert you to the 2.XX fw.
