Wallpapers to showcase Amoled

This amoled thing is quiet amazing I have to admit. The colors and contrast are unbeatable. Now with the cute theme and a few others, and with some of my own hacking, we can finally use wallpapers on S9.

In any case - I am sharing a few ... these are all my own photos ... resized and compressed to load faster. Colors should be more intense on the S9 than on the PC ...

Also, since the header and footer on the main menu take up some space, part of your image may not show (480x272).


IF that happens, resize your images to an ipod touch resolution, ie, 480x320.

EDIT: the 480x320 resolution doesn't also fit perfectly, I'll test and see what does shortly. Or if anyone knows, let us know please.

Actually all these are crops ... I tried to push the crops in such a way that the header/footer is cleared ... just didn't completely work in all photos. I do want them to span entire screen because even header/footer is somewhat transparent.

I'll try to recrop some.

FYI: the header is around 55px in height and the footer around 50px in height.

I used gimp to open a 480x272 window and toss my larger picture in it and it'll get that size. Just gotta aim what to toss in

Hmm ... I use Gimp in linux ... it still doesn't beat Photoshop in rescaling / sharpening logic ... plus I have to justify obscene cost I paid for Photoshop

I got all the discworlds in both Dutch and English in a seperate cabinet from all my other books

btw, I use Irfanview, does the resizing/rescaling job okay I suppose! :P

There are several other themes that do wallpapers.
S9_Theme does it too.
Check this http://iaudiophile.net/forums/showthread.php?t=25094 and you will see alot of finished themes. Look for user insta and his(/her?) Flow Final theme.
