umm, well a lot of people have viewed this thread, i don't see why non of them replied. because if they saw "InvisibleSHIELD test" and clicked on it, they must have some interest, so regardless of no replies yet, i plan on making the video...

I think not alot of folks responded because the title was InvisibleSHIELD test, and yet there is NO test to be had. Of course people would be interested in the test, but I think most might have felt mislead by the title of the thread. Look foreward to your test though, good luck, hope it doesnt fail the test lol.

Exactly! When you enter invisible shield test tread you're expecting to see the test and not the guy asking whether you want to see one. Please, don't do this again.
Thanks for efforts though. Waiting for the video.

what I would like to know is if it is truly "invisible" cause I read somewhere that you can see some ripples through the protector

The invisible shield does have ripples. Its not just one flat piece of plastic. You have to be close to the device to see it. You also have to be looking for it inorder to see it so its not that big a deal to me.

i just got my invisibleSHIELD today, and put it on, it's almost set...i took a few pictures. it does have ripples, but like Exile said, only if you look closely, when the player is on, you don't notice it...

Edit* I'll make the test video within the week. i don't have my own camera, so it depends on when my sister is home lol.

never mind guys....i'm sending the invisibleSHIELD back for a new one or something, i just put the player in my pocket with the shield on it, and the headphones wrapped around it, and when i took it out, the headphones had gotten caught on the shield, and stretched it, and it had a mark on it and when the player was on it looked all rainbowy where the mark was...the screen itself is better...

Um.... huh? Sound like a perfect opportunity to do your test since your sending it back. Wont you feel dumb if you wait for a new one to arrive and you do your test to have it fail. Then you will have to send it back a second time. Why not just try with this disposable one your just going to send back anyhow.

Hey guy, well i purchased the plastic Cowon Shield and InvisibleShield before i even got my cowon. The Shield is scratch proof i tried it with keys...but didn't put ALOT of pressure cause of the screen but it didn't leave a mark...
with the Cowon Shield, it prevents the edges from peeling away very well..
=D i'm happy should of gotten original case tho...

Default Gorilla glass!

So, are you guys aware that the S9 uses Gorilla Glass?

In other words, it's pretty dang durable right off the bat, and no real need for screen protectors that I can see.

There are several stress test videos online showing the durability of this player specifically, and a couple others that show the strengths of Gorilla Glass in general.

This guys shoves a fork across the screen in a way that produces an awful screeching noise
He also pushes an x-axto type of blade around on the screen for a bit.

It's rumored that the new Samsung P3 might have the same type of glass. It's definitely something almost as durable from the vidz i've seen.

I just bought an invisible shield for my cowon. Why take a chance on how durable something is when you could buy added scratch protection for $24.99 + s&h? It's a no-brainer to me.

I have an IS on mine and find that it really just makes the thing look dirty with prints and when the shield gets nicked or scratched, it looks like the player's damaged.

I should say that I swear by IS and have them on almost all my products but I don't really see the need for it on the S9. I might take mine off.
