Default Problem Identifying My Walkman

Hello,

First of all, I'm not a thug or a criminal or w/e. Just bought a Walkman from a guy that I know a bit, it's basically brand new, even has the protective plastic thing on screen. But I dont have driver(s) for this walkman but I dont know which ones I need since I dont know the model name.

Yes I readed the topic about how to find out the serial number, my back of it doesnt have it somehow.. Looks original tho.

The only and I mean the ONLY picture that I could find from internet of it was:

And yes I searched for other pictures to find model name for hour or so but only found this. Any help on finding the name is much appreciated.
//Edit: On the bottom right of the screen is written B - 8 if thats any help. On back is 2GB as sticker and a "mn" sticker.

Hmm also to add, I dont know how to create a folder. The mobible leads to Disc K which is empty, but cant create folders there. So hmm, kinda stuck.

It looks you may have bought a Chinese mp3 player not a Sony one. In the picture I see a mini USB cord and I know most Sony players have proprietary cables (with the exception of the PSP). I will suggest taking it back to the guy you bought it from and get a refund.

It could very likely be a fake, indeed.

The irony I find is that the Chinese knockoff actually does what a lot of us would prefer: install a port for a non-proprietary USB charger.

I agree with dfkt. Most if not pretty much all Sony Walkman DAPs use a proprietary cable.

Chinese knockoffs also play FLV video and RMVB... so that's another bonus for them.

The light sensitive Sony marking caught me I guess. But yup, asked from the dude and he sayd that it was from outside, not sure exact.. Went to him and he showd me a thing or two.. And well.. The problem was - I'm extremely stupid with computers

So.. I got it working, didnt need drivers etc. I'm satisfied with my non-original Sony or should i call it Cony, hehe. Looks stylish + sounds quality.

Thanks for replyng tho
