Default File transfer from phone to P2 doesn't work but from p2 to phone it does!?!

I can't figure this out......
My YP-P2 player works as a bluetooth headset for my phone. I can also send files from the P2 to the phone. No problems there.
If I select a file on my phone and try to send it to my P2 player, it will search for, find it, and connect as headset but the P2 will not appear on the phone's list of devices for file transfer!!!
The phone states the P2's service list is "Handsfree" and "Object push"

Phone: Samsung Sync SGH-A707
MP3 player: Samsung P2 firmware 5.10 region BB

I used to have a Samsung T10 player and I had no problems sending and recieving files with the same phone. I am thinking I may have a firmware issue but the Emodio software automatically updated to 5.10.
Why can't I send the files to the P2 when I had no problems doing the same with my T10? Do I need to install all 5 firmware updates in order or does 5.10 include all previous updates?

I'm wondering if they disabled Object Push as I remember my Instinct could do it when I first got it, but now I after a few updates I can't even find the option to select a file for transfer.

My Samsung M610 cant do it either.

I think it is the phones firmware. Samsung thinks everything on the phone is probably copyrighted, therefore you shouldn't be able to send anything. But receiving is fine for some reason. That's my thinking.

This is weird. I have a Samsung phone too. its an old phone, sgh-d807. When i want to transfer something from phone to p2, first i activate bluetooth on p2 then find file on phone and select send to bluetooth and it works fine.
