Default Bluetooth Firmware?

Yp-t9jbqb/xet ... Bluetooth Disappeared when updated to current firmware 1.80

Where is a link to a firmware with bluetooth in it.

Tried the samsung web site.

Tried changing the config file to say eu not us (which works) but no bluetooth.

Tried calling samsung, US and they don't support non US units.

Tried calling samsung Germany, and Italy. Don't speak either language.

Any Sugestions?

There is no such thing as a Bluetooth firmware. The same firmware that can flash a BT unit will flash a non-BT unit. Sounds like during the flash process, a file was corrupted. Do you have a system.ver file in your system folder? If so, what does it say? You might also want to double check your config file to make sure it was formatted properly.

Oops, I just read your other post about completing a low level format...that's what blew your Bluetooth away. It's not advisible to low level format a BT T9 but this should help you.

Thanks for your reply! Yes, i did low level it due to bricked unit.

Ok, I dis-assembled the unit and got my 12 digit mac address, Created the file BT_MAC_ADDR.TXT, edited the file and placed my 12 digit number in file, pressed enter to a blank line. (tried w/o pressing enter after pasting number in file too) copied file to root of system folder, and copied firmware 2 files to root dir of t-9, (tried with 1.80 and 1.72, unpluged from computer, rebooted t9.... No bluetooth.

What am i doing wrong?

I did nothing with the config.txt file,(dont know what should be in it or where it goes) do i need to? if so what do i need to do...

ok, created a config.txt and put EU ENG MTP in it and put it in the system folder too. Re-Boot, Still No Bluetooth Option. But it does say firmware 1.80 EU...

PS (i know this unit had bluetooth on it when i bought it at the airport in germany)

Thanks, again

From "Samsung Media Studio" that no longer works, you should download and install the software EmoDio (replacement).
