Default Here's a Good Reason...

Actually, a very valid justification for some sort of password-protection/security is if a songwriter uses the D2 for temporarily storing/playing his/her music that hasn't been copyrighted yet.

what ever might be your purpose. just buy a SDHC card and keep in it all the private files. that's as good as having all the private collection in a separate CD.

That's the D2 advantage!! it nicely integrates the files in the external card to the internal memory. so i can have many cd's(sdhc cards) each for a different use.
