broken zune - usb port

someone attempted to disconnect their zune 8 without pressing in the sides of the USB to release it.... this resulted in some significant damage to the plug in the zune... is anyone aware of someplace or someone that will be able to fix this? what is the cost for such a repair? is this zune a done deal?

You would have to go buy the main board from a place like Rapid Repair. They are out of stock right now. You may be better off just buying a new zune.

Yeah I had something similar happen, and all I could locate was the ability to replace the motherboard, I just ended up picking up a new zune instead of
going to all that trouble.
