I tried updating the firmware through recovery mode - I'm really regretting this now. The player was working fine and I thought I'd just upgrade the firmware to the latest version.
I have removed the old firmware version and now it won't install the latest version. I am left with a Zen Vision Brick. When I start the new version installation, I get the message, "player is not connected, please connect your player". Let me assure you this player is certainly connected. I have tried doing a 'clean up'. I have tried rolling back to WMP10 (I heard that might help). My next reluctant step is a format... unless you can suggest anything. Thanks |

Issue resolved.
I ran the Creative mp3 Player Recovery Tool and it downloaded and installed the Firmware back on to it again. http://www.creative.com/products/mp3...ol/welcome.asp |
