This is exactly what I've been wanting... but I'm having the same problem reported by edbro. I have an e270, using the latest firmware (02.12). I have hundreds of mp3s on it, all properly tagged. The Sansa itself uses the tags to display song titles, albums, artists etc. But the Sanse playlister utility lists every song by filename only, with a title of "Everyone" for every track, and with an Artist which is a 7 digit decimal number, unique to each track, e.g. "9949194". The mp3s on this unit come from a variety of sources (some of them have tags created with the mp3tag util, others created by CDEx, etc.) They all have both ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags.
Again, the unit itself reads and uses the tags correctly. |

Feature REQUEST.
Can you please make it so it shows directorys where files are stored. I put all my albums and catorgorys in different directorys on my E250. I just want to be able to make a playlist easy without being overhwlemed by all my song sin front of me. I just want to go into a directory and select all the songs in that directory and make a playlist like that, and not going everywhere over a hundred or more songs trying to find and place songs into a playlist ![]() This is very tedious. Even more tedious if i add more songs then i have to find them in the mess ![]() If I am missing something let me know if not please ad dit in the next release. Then you have a perfect program ![]() Thanks. |

Thought I'd post an update about program changes being worked on.
First is making the program window resizable (already finished) and second is decoding the tags internally instead of using the windows shell (hopefully this will be the fix for the few peeps that have had proplems with tags not being read). Not sure when the next release will be but with luck sometime in next week. |

Why does the "other" playlist editor get a sticky in this forum (when it doesn't even WORK for me)? ... and this one remains buried in the forum!

For anyone that's not aware... Newest version is 1.1.40 . I went to his website and there was an updated version posted. Not sure why he didn't post it here but it's there if anyone wants it. I haven't check it out yet to see what was changed.

I'm told it doesn't, not having a c200 to try it with I can't tell if they use a different playlist format or not.
The guy that tried it said the player was detected ok and he could make the playlist fine but the Sansa c250 he had wouldn't recognize them. |

Thanks. For some reason, Playlister doesn't detect my Sansa. I read through this thread and saw someone else had the issue, and I was able to connect by adding the drive letter in the Playlister properties screen. Doing that, of course, it didn't "see" my SD drive. Any known workarounds for that?
Thanks very much. |
