I don't think this has been mentioned, but I would like it if when browsing by Genres the S9 DIDN'T use titlecasing for the first word. Example, I have a couple genres with two or more words (Audio Book, Rap & Hip Hop, etc). The S9 displays those as "Audio book" and "Rap & hip hop". It'd be nice if it didn't change the casing.

Can we please have tracks sorted by IDv3 disc number and then track number please? It's annoying to have all of my tracks mixed up for multi-disc albums. :/ I don't like naming the album "The Best of Creedence Clearwater Revival Disc 1" and such.

I wish they would sort out picture viewing , the zoom and resizing in particular, whats the point in being able to zoom in to a picture if it lets you see less detail?

I use 101, 102, 103, ..., 201, 202, 203 for track numbers on multi-disc albums. Works for me, and doesn't pollute the album tag field.

That's a fine idea that I may well use too.

I'm sure it's been listed a million times, but I would love if the S9 had phone connectivity ala Samsung P3. Also, if they opened up the ID3 tags to UCI developers - I'd love if a UCI existed that let me sort my albums in order of Artist -> Album -> Disc -> Track, and could show separate album art for separate CDs. Not to mention multiple album art per track, notes, composer/performer tags, and so on.

That's a damn good idea dfkt, that said I think I'll stick with separate folders for discs and "...Disc 1", "..Disc 2" after the album name in Tags. I like them being seperate, that's how they were in the original.

My biggest wish right now remains a "play all" button in the browser, so you can play everything in an artist folder for example, or a genre folder if you use them.

An update of the flash player to v8.0/9.0 and maybe to actionscript v3.0.

Isn't it about time the OP is updated? Many of the things on the wishlist have been fulfilled, have they not?

Make the S9 compatible with Mac OS...

Or if Cowon does not intend to fix this compatibility issue which is known and well documented on the internet, then at least revise your packaging (that mentions compatibility with Mac OS) as it is currently false advertising and very shaky statement from a legal standpoint.

It is OS X compatible, just not in MTP mode.

Why don't you just make it all into one album and use the track numbers.
so instead of
d1t1
d1t2
d2t1
d2t2
d3t1
d3t2
you have
t1
t2
t3
t4
t5
t6
get it? that's what I do

I'd like recordings from the FM Radio to be in mp3 format, or ogg. WMA is worthless to me.

I think a scrobbler is the most important and then vorbis artwork for .ogg and a shuffle songs button somewhere easy e.g. home screen or above/below music/folders/album etc.

Hm.. only me that wants ReplayGain support? That works truly great on the Sansa Clip+. Liked it so much that I started using it in WinAmp too. Especially if you have a lot of different music styles, some more audiophile than others - uncompressed pure recordings vs radiomastered or squashed albums. It gets really annoying on shuffle play. I've experienced 15-20dB in percieved loudness, which is quite a lot with the speakers in your ear.. Try shuffle play with one of the first Dire Straits album and the latest from Metallica..and you'll know what I mean

I absolutely agree, Replaygain is pretty much a must for me too. I thought it has been mentioned before in this thread, but I'm not sure - could have been the wishlist for the old Sansa Clip (which has been fulfilled on the new Clip+).

Legitimate playlist support. I guess I was spoiled with my playlists on my ZVM. 400 songs total? I need at least 5 times that.

I spent the past several hours (it's 4:30AM right now, maybe since like 1-2AM) trying to get my playlist working. I used 3-4 different programs and read all around abi and other sources about getting playlists to work on the S9. Then I saw that Cowon says "up to 400 lists per M3U," and I guessed that meant songs. So I cut the playlist down to under 400 and it worked flawlessly. Only it doesn't cover even half of my general playlist.

I was getting some serious issues with there being a ton of tracks on the list. The whole browser was messed up as long as that playlist was loaded, no folder names showed up, solely brackets, etc.

I'd also like for a "Now Playing/Selected" sort of thing, a la the ZVM.

Otherwise, this player dominates
