I need advice on what to get for headphones...?

I want Sennheiser CX 400's. but how much better are they than CX 300's? and could someone tell me if these are fake?

if they are...wtf? why would amazon carry a fake product?

and can someone recommend a good not-so-expensive pair of over-the-ear Sennheisers? and would they be worth it to replace my Skullcandy Hesh?

I doubt amazon would deal fake products.

About the headphones - what do you expect from them? Do you need closed back or open headphones. You must be more precise. And, as far as I know - anything would be worth to replace any pair of skullcandies.

This is not Amazon - it's an Amazon Marketplace store, and they are indeed known for selling fakes, just like on eBay. Not sure if that particular store sells fakes, but you never know.

No point in CX400, i have them and its just annoying with the split cable (30 cm + extension cord). Recabled mine with a koss portapro cable

umm, whats the difference? i just went to amazon.com and found em. and now ive found two different ones, they're the same earbuds, but they're titled differently and one is less than the other...i tried zooming in on the label to see if they are fakes, but i couldnt tell, although i think the 39.95 ones are fake, and the 24.99 ones are real....on the 39.95 ones they have a close up image of the logo, as someone said in the forums about how to tell if they are real or not, the S in the rectange is a little bit bigger than the rectangle it's in,a nd it looks a little bigger to me, idk can't really tell.

well, you never know. There are thousands of fake Sennheiser CX400s. Titles are useless unless you have the pair of buds in your hands.

Just checked the top 1, it's not a "reliable" seller. The bottom one is better. The guy who didnt get it is just not mailed properly to him yet.
