I found this product video on http://www.shop.bt.com/ . I haven't seen it before, so apologies if it has already been posted.

Video

I am a little intrigued by the prices on the site as well.

(16GB) £184.98 inc. VAT ( http://www.shop.bt.com/productview.a...ey=11212,50417 )

(32gb) £243.82 inc. VAT ( http://www.shop.bt.com/productview.a...ey=11212,50417 )

SQ... Probably; Performance, it looked just as fast as any other player (I own a p2), Features...??Bluetooth(IMO a big thing)... anything else? um small things like calling(never do), widescreen,... To me it seems like a p3 with less memory and price...
Radio, video, flash, txt, music, speaker, web(replacing bluetooth). P3 wins with user selective MTP and SQ. Mintpad might support large format memory cards though, its in the air.

Now the x1000 does have the noise cancelling but your sacrificing bluetooth, flash(I think) and a speaker (also can't remember if on an x1000)

I noticed that the videos were splitted into parts and presented like a cover list. Also it was 432x240 and not 320x240 as previously mentioned.

IMO the SONY "coverflow" looks better than apple's

P3 wins on sq? When did you hear x1000? From the video x1000 looks more responsive then P2, which sometimes takes multiple taps and lags. The x1000 from the video looked iphone/touch responsive. The digital amp should be killer also.

One question: Where did you see that the resolution is 432X240? I'm still gonna get this (sorry Cowon), even if it's 320X240, but I'd still like to see the specs that say this.

well at 1:24 a video is actually 320x240 due to the black bars on the sides but that could be due to the fact it might be a music video? where as at 1:26 the video is actually the full width of the screen, which appears also to be a music video, so who knows what gives here. :P

I'll probably get an X1000 too. I want to have a UI race side-by-side with an iPod Touch.

Awesome video, though I have no clue what he's saying. Is a translation possible?

I'm wondering what he gave a thumbs down to...and what the whole swearing bit towards the end was about.

The interface looks great, very responsive, and its good to see that its easy to access other songs from the now playing screen. The coverflow is fast and responsive, unlike those offered by the S9 and P3, and the youtube function and the videos come out great.

Still no appearance of the browser, though.

I'm guessing the browser is below par or we would be seeing it already. I've got a browser on my smartphone, and despite how hard they worked on it it pales to safari on the Touch.

hmm the response time is quite a surprise, I was expecting minimum lag, but there appears to be none what so ever and use of functions seem to be also quite simple and similar to the current walkman lines.

Interesting enough, there was a youtube and yahoo search there in the links area or whatever that was.

Good to see more reviews are flowing out, and hopefully a translation of this will come out or an english review will soon appear.

PS: He mentions the browser, then says "never mind". Like I said, who cares!!!!
