one plug isnt screwed on properly, but nice!
A tip: if you pull off the stretch reliver, you can skip the metal barrel and use the rubber thingy directly on the angled metal parts. That way you can make it much shorter.

Sansa Fuze's diyLOD v1 (below) and v2 (above). diyLOD v1 is mod'ed from original Sandisk sync/charge cable while v2 is made with Ridax connector plus two decoupling caps from Panasonic.

I was still working on my handy work there. I just wanted to actually get it made the first go around.

I still need to get the length a bit shorter. I need to find some smaller 3.5mm plugs.

Below is my first attempt at making a similar plug to dfkt's bridge The plug posts are cheap old iem’s, soldered the 3 wires and covered with “foamies” extra firm foam padding and shaped with xacto knife & sandpaper. Yea, I know I still have some smoothing out to finish, but I couldn’t wait to test it out and it certainly provides a closer fit, although I think I can still go smaller with the right plugs.

Hey guy, I hacked up some ethernet cable the other day and took 2 cables and twisted them together, so now I had 3 cables that are 2 twisted together. Then I braided them together so that means 2 cables for Left Channel, 2 for Right, and 2 for ground. Then I thought "Why stop there, so I took 3 cables braided them together. So now I have 3 cables that are made of 3 cables, I braided those together. Now I have 1 super cable and 1 2x Cable. What do you guys think? I hope that made sense.......

lol, the more wires the better I guess. My cable is made from ps2 cable from a bad mouse. sounds great haha
