hi,
in my yearly quest for xmas gifts i stumbled upon the trekstor i.beat move. Trekstor claims that it is linux compatible but i didn't find any information about the video format it supports. The manual speaks about AVIs, but afaik an avi is just a container, isn't it? So can anyone tell me, if it's possible with linux tools to convert videos to the needed format to watch it on the i.beat or do i need the trekstor windows software? thanks in advance |

ok, i got an answer from the trekstor support, but since it came too late, i allready bought a sansa fuze (which i really regret, cause no video on the fuze with linux).
So i can't test it but that's what the support wrote: Code:
mencoder INPUT -o OUTPUT -ofps 18 -vf-add scale=128:160, -vf-add expand=128:160:-1:-1:1,rotate=2,flip -srate 44100 -ovc xvid -xvidencopts bitrate=400:max_bframes=0:quant_type=h263:me_quality=0 -oac lavc -lavcopts acodec=mp2:abitrate=64 |
