According to cowon korea, the s9's battery is now 55 hours for music, and 11 hours for videos.

EDIT: I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH THIS IS. AS LONG AS THE 32 GIG IS UNDER 550 DOLLARS, I'LL GET ONE.

Oh my god, this UI looks so much better than the O2, it's not even funny - and the player has real, useful hardware buttons.

That's ture, not that many touch MP3 players will have the buttons.

Looks great, nice that they included some tactical buttons. I just hope the fw is better than the o2’s. It would be interesting to see it rocking back and forth paired with a portable amp

Good. Looks promising, but I'm waiting for the firmware - it would surprise me if it's so much better than that of the O2. It's difficult to believe that Cowon can make the alleged rubbish firmware for the O2, and something that's so much better for the S9 in such timelines.

I just hope that some of the more [diplomatic] frequent (very) and excitable (very) posters [/diplomatic) won't be disappointed

Hopefully they'll read and listen to enzo's front page article and dfkt's thread, but I'm not holding my breath, let's wait and see.

They did a great job on the UI. There has to be something (read: firmware) really wrong for me not to buy one.

Wow, @ the Cowon Korea site they have pictures of the S9 outside: REFLECTION! Can you even see anything on that screen with that much reflection?
