Default Getting mp3 files to play in order
Is there anyway to get mp3 files to be play in order? That is, if I navigate to an albums folder & start the 1st track, I want them to play as ordered on the album (& should be able to use left/right arrow button to go to next track in order.)

Just dragged & dropped folders as they are on my pc labeled artist/album with mp3's inside by track #/track name. When there's only 1 album (thus folder) by an artist it seems list/play properly(in order) but some albums(folders) will play the tracks at random in no order (alphabetical or otherwise)??? I checked & the file structure is exactly the same w/ albums that play in order & those at random??

I've seen the advise on media library software but I 'm a bit reluctant to go through all that if they're not gonna play in order anyway.....

Check the ID3 tags on your files, Google Mp3tag for a nice free app.

Do you have the track number field filled in, in the ID3 tag?

Check wether you don't have shuffle mode enabled

If you use file/folder browsing and not ID3 browsing, use a file naming scheme that starts with the track number, like "01 - artist - title.mp3" or similar.
