A "[PWMFDC]" section?

I am taking a quick look at the files in the new firmware zip, and I see that the "Default.ini" file contains a section titled "[PWMFDC]" -- the various sections in that file apparently tell the installer how to configure the device for various regions, i.e., allow the FM radio to work in some regions, not in others, which frequency band to use in which region, and so forth.

However, for *this* ("[PWMFDC]") section, NONE of the regions are active (they are all set to "0").

Does anyone have *any* idea what this does? I guess I could just try setting "A=1" and see what happens, but I'm not that adventurous just yet. <g>

I tried a google search for that acronym -- it didn't turn up a single entry. The only sequence I can noodle up on my own is "Pulse-Width Modulated Floppy Disk Controller" which might be nice (if there was an interface, which there isn't!), but it doesn't seem to make a lot of sense.

Has anyone else noticed this? Has anyone tried turning it on to see what happens?
