There is a way to play all songs of a specific artist. That is if you give all the songs of that artist the same genre. Then just go to genre, select the right genre and then the artist. It will make a list with all the songs of that artist, without having to choose an album.
It's still sad though that there is no other way of doing this...

Yes, thank you, this seems to be "easiest" workaround. ButI still do not think it is worth working so hard to flat out the SPINN's shortcommings, this is irver's task, right? So, let's hope it will be somehow heard.

Thanks for the link, bbq. I'll wait for the US version with no DMB to show up though. Last time I had the Korean version on my SPINN it slowed down quite a bit.

I've tried the new firmware. It seems not slow down SPINN. The big Album Art is amazing. So is the Memo.

BTW, Korean Version includes multiple languages.

How did you get the big album art to work?? I tried the new firmware too, but i didn't have the big album art.

Thanks bbq. Did the Korean firmware still add the dmb option to players that don't have the hardware for it?

less than 10 business days? Between Korean and US/European Versions of firmware 1.5 it took about so much. (Prety excts, ha? Still some orientation though...)

In fact, there are some differencies bewteen Korean and other versions other than DMB module. In the korean version you can have ikons in the start menu, and you can not select MTP or UMS functionality (there must be a reason for that, could someone explain, pls?).

Korean version is also compatible with europe version. Spinn in my country, Thailand, does have DMB too, and this 2.0 work great.

Bump. Just hoping someone will notice when/if the US version shows up and post it here. I went ahead and put the Korean version on, and have to say I love the Memo function. I also played with scheduling an FM recording, but forgot to keep headphones plugged in. I recorded a fine 1/2 hour of static. Looks like it got the right frequency at the right time though.

How do you install the korean version?
I am having a hard time with that. I am using iriver plus 3 to try
and upgrade but it says I already have the latest 1.5 version

Download the firmware. Unzip it. The just copy the contents of the Zip to the uppermost level of the SPINN. Safely disconnect it from the PC and it will install the firmware.
