How can I get the tunes I listen to on my Cowan (D2) scrobbled to last.fm.
An ipod obviously supports this and possibly other PMPs. I know JetAudio has a last.fm plugin but does this work for traffic listened to on the D2? I use windows explorer to copy media to the D2 and would rather not use intermediary software as I don't see what purpose it serves but if I have to use JetAudio to copy media to the D2 I will, just for the last.fm support. |

You have to use the D2 in MTP mode and use Zenses for scrobbling.
Once Rockbox will be able to write to the D2's memory you can scrobble with that as well.

Thanks very much for the response. I have set it up - we'll see how it goes.

Hi, I let you know that I've just found a software that works well for scrobbling to last.fm with cowon D2: QTScrobbler (<!-- m -->http://www.lastfm.it/group/QTScrobbler<!-- m -->) (it does it instead of the last beta version of zenses, that with my D2 doesn't work). QTScrobbler scrobbles the tracks and they appear on your last.fm profile: great!

Unfortunately no scrobbler works with MSC players, and QTscrobbler is more for Rockbox and iPod scrobbling. But I think current versions should work with some MTP players as well: http://qtscrob.sourceforge.net/
QTscrobbler and Zenses2 look equally crappy so far... one uses QT4, the other one uses Java...
