New Clip owner!

8 GB, black, bought here in Italy for 66 euros.
From the few minutes I have played with it, I can say, lovely player!
I adore its o-led display and the completely-no-software approach, just drag'n'drop in MUSIC folder (though I maintain my music library precisely tagged); the sound is great as I expected, finally I can drive my Yuin PK3 nicely.
I came from a rockboxed Ipod Nano that I still have (and still works flawlessly), and can't wait to see my new black toy with RB logo
In fact first annoyances come from RB compare: crossfeed (sooo distracting without, funny to realize how much I was used to this kind of listening) and gapless support. I don't mind the folder_vs_tags thing; I have not a single untagged mp3 on my computer

Congrats on the new clip, they're certainly great little players, AFAIK rockbox is still in the alpha-state, but several people are already running it and one of our admins, dfkt too.

I'm fairly new to the clip as well, about 3 weeks in, it's a great lil player everything about it is great, well other than the clip part of it could be a bit more stable

What's not stable about the clip on yours? I actually think the clip part is great, I clip it everywhere

when I'm on the move and I unclip it for a sec to change the settings, after that clipping back onto my lighter pocket(jeans) I sometimes push the clip part down a bit more than the player when securing it so the clip part almost falls off, only happened a couple times but it does happen.
From the look of the clip part of the clip it looks like it was designed to be reversed so you could attach a Lanyard/Carabina to it

using the clip makes me miss the screen on my broken S10, also the size thing too, wish they both got 'together' and birthed us a hybrid

I have removed my clip on purpose numerous times to pair with amp, but when I reinserted it holds very firm, in fact mines a bit tricky to remove as it holds so well. BTW, screens are overrated and it's a great trade off for the price/sq relationship. Also, check the Fuze, as it looks like the hybrid to me.

if I was going to buy anything bigger than the clip I have to go with a Cowon, I want hybrid with the iriver so it would be smaller/sleeker
not sure about the screen, now that I think about it I'd probably take anything I could seen in the sunshine, probably my only major grip with the player is not being able to use it in the sun prettymuch makes it an ipod Shuffle with FM reception
