Music on the microSD card not seen

Hello folks,
since the slot on my View is broken (check http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum...d.php?p=288344) I wanted to use the SanDisk 4Gb microSDHC card I bought with my Sansa Express 2Gb.
I've inserted it in the Express, the player says "creating database" but then no music shows up!
The View sees it correctly, and even the Express, when I go to the System Info page, correctly shows the card as present...
So what could be the problem?

What firmware are you using? I found that 1.01.12A works good. You get it from Sansa Firmware Updater, and I could not get the TEMP files to install that firmware because it does a force reboot to the Express.

I'm not sure about the firmware, I think it's the 1.02.09A.
Anyway I formatted the card again, and now it seems to work. Maybe it did not format correctly before, although the View did not have any problem.

Can you check by going into Setting -> System Info? I have not checked on any new updates since I got 01.01.12A on my 1GB Express.

Sorry, it's 01.01.05A (01.02.09 is my View's firmware version!)
What does v01.01.12A do? My Express works fine, so I won't upgrade unless the new firmware adds an important feature or corrects a main bug (my philosophy is: if it's not broken don't fix it)

That is fine. I am not sure because SanDisk did not release a change log for 01.01.12A. I think 01.01.05A had a microSDHC issue, and that is why they released 01.01.05A2.

I'll monitor how it behaves with the microSDHC in. If something goes wrong, I'll upgrade
