Pagel14, did you try the e200tool via Linux and manufacturer mode?

I have the same problem..... no manufacturer mode..... I tried e200tool (in Linux) and it never recognized the port.
I only get the blue ring and nothing else. I tried everything I could find on this site and a couple more, and no-worky.... I reseated the daughter board and still nothing. Am I screwed?

Mine was in the Blue Thumbwheel - recovery didn't work mode.
Disassembled and reseated board.
This fixed the problem for me.

Jacko, have you cleaned the connection between the main board and the daughter card?

I did clean the contacts, or tried to. They are awfully small, but I found some contact cleaner that I may try.

The reseating did the trick... thanks for the tip. I had tried everything else... It bricked while rockboxing and thought I had totally hosed it up. Guess it was just a coincidence. Loads of thanks

I couldn't connect my Sansa E260 via USB. I opened the back, pushed on the black area above the battery and now it works. I don't know how you guys figure this stuff out but thanks advcomp2019.

Did you try what’s been written in this thread, like pressing down on the daughter card, if it’s not that I did reply another option in your other thread here.
