Thanks! Being I only use MP3 for lossy encoded music I think I will finally Rockbox my 5.5G.

I heard the news, and I got my hopes up for something major, like USB support.

Bitmap resize is not included. Seriously guys, what part of "its features are actually slightly less than the current build" is so confusing?

IMO the extended battery life is the most important "feature" Everything else follows.

This isn't really a feature of the 3.0 release unless you're comparing it to very old SVN builds, from early this year or later last year.

Ok, I won't install this. Maybe when WMA users get 20% more battery life as well. But the 20h battery life I get out of it now isn't that bad, especially when packed with the 8GB Sandisk Micro SDHC card I ordered yesterday.
If the new Version supports to CUE WMAs on the fly, that would be a big reason to upgrade.

I tried it and it's awesome! wish it had a more user friendly interface like the Oringinal firmware though.

The sound is good, it makes my Philips sound good, i'm gonna sell my skullcandys to someone at school, perfect match for there ipod.

I was using Kugel's last build which had some bugs associated with the GUI boost patch. I upgraded to 3.0 and lost functionality of all my themes (i kind of expected it as Kugel warned us all that the fonts were reworked for his build). After redowloading black and blue glass (the only one I have been using) all is good. 3.0 works like a charm.

I know, hence is the reason why I put feature in quotes. What I am trying to say is that IMO extended battery life is very important.
