Unhappy D2 water damage -> blank screen

Yeah, I'm in a bit of a pickle, last night I spilled some water on my D2 while it was running, I quickly turned it off and took out the SDHC card . . . today I turned it back on (it seemed like it was entirely dry, and I didn't think that the water had gotten too far into it) but the screen is entirely blank!

It seems that it's still working, since when I then plugged it into my computer it detected both the internal memory and the 16GB SDHC card I had stuck back in.

I suppose my question is, what should I do? Should I find some tiny screwdrivers and open the thing up? Should I try and contact Cowon and get it fixed? (certainly it'd be cheaper than buying a new one, although I don't know how easy it is to get it in to them from Canada where I live) Am I simply screwed? (ie. should I wait for the O2? heh)

Tried resetting the D2?

You might also try reloading the firmware. If it doesn't work the regular way, you can use FWDN or TCCTool.

If you think it is water damage and not software corruption wait more. People clean electronics with water as long as they are turned off but then they wait around 48+ hours for them to dry. I think some people even use a hairdryer but I think just letting it dry in a very dry environment for longer would be best.
