Default Firmware v5.10 is out!
As the title states, it fixes a couple bugs and that is about it. Glad to know that we are not forgotten.

1. Error correction : 22.5kHz file''s playback noise (UFO / siren noise)
2. Error correction : Page scroll error on 2page or higher VCF file
3. Error correction : Power key operation on Hold mode
4. Error correction : Track playback error on specific conditions

Go download either episode #14A, #14B or #15A of the Android Guys Podcast. I usually hear it within the first two minutes of each of these. The sound may scare the shi* out of you if you are not ready.

the siren sound is like, when your listening to certain music, out of no where there will be a super loud siren sound. its like: *musicmusicmusicmusicWHEEEOOOOOOOOWWWW*

and no, it doesnt have any new stuff

OMG i thought i was the only one who experienced that siren sound LOL... at first I thought it was just the song that I downloaded so I erased the song... everytime that siren things comes on it NEVER fails to shock me lol.

Actually, The sound only happened to me when i had DNSE on anything but normal. The same thing happened on my Sansa E200 with some of the beta firmwares.

at work sometimes it goes off and everyone puts their hand over their head and ducks and say Whoa!?? What is that and i have to run to the backroom to take DNSE off and my boss gets pissed at me so this is a welcomed update. Thanks samsung. Keep em coming!

The reason that not all of your songs experienced this problem is that it only happened with files encoded at a sampling rate of 22,500 Hz. That is not your average mp3, you're more likely to find it with stuff you steal from YouTube or Podcasts or the like.
