Default Does the Nokia HS-45 work for MP3 players?

Just wondering if anybody has tried the Nokia HS-45 with their MP3 player. I have been searching for a wired remote for my Samsung P2 and I am not sure what to try.

The remote only works with Nokia phones. The earbuds should work, but they're certainly crappy sound quality and you could get better ones for cheaper.

I have the HS-47 but it only has a 2.5mm-would a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adaptor work?

No. The remote is for nokia phones as dfkt very clearly stated,. The P2 doesnt even support wired remotes as far as anyone knows, and it certainly doesnt use nokia ones even if it did
