If you would like the firmware to include AUDIO BOOKMARKS please respond. I'm a dedicated samsung customer and I'm currently working with one of their tech support reps on this, she is working to get this feature added.

i'm interested in audio bookmarks too, when listening audiobooks. Perhaps it would be implemented for files larger than xx Megs, like audiobooks or big audio files as classical music.

Bookmarks for audiobooks are the NUMBER 1 Reason I got a T-10. It was listed on the NetLibrary eAudiobooks website as compatible with eAudiobooks and having BOOKMARKS. I would like to see them soon, please.

Yes, I would very much appreciates true bookmark. I would prefer them designed like the Cowon players - track-named bookmarks saving position and playlist. Books are generally multiple tracks. Restoring track position and playlist (other book tracks) is the right way to handle audio books and live albums.

Are you telling me that Samsung is so stupid that they included them in the T9 but not the T10? I thought they were one of the few companies that wasn't stuck in the 1950's or in a cave and realized people now use audiobooks and have been for 150 years and not just music.

Maybe they left it out because of the Skip, resume, bookmark bug where it won't return to the correct place as I describe in a thread on the Samsung T9 board.

My battery on my T9 is wearing out. Was thinking of getting a replacemnt for $40 but I think I will get a Creative Zen with 10 bookmarks instead. Samsung needs to get their head out of the sand.

Yeah it's weird that samsung did that. The t10 is still missing some of the features included in the t9. But it's almost there. Audio bookmarks are due out in the next firmware I think. And If I remember right the t9 could do more than 10 bookmarks. Your also going to get a drop in sound quality. The interface on the zen is better though. It's really annoying that samsung still didn't include a volume control and a couple more buttons. This is definitely my last samsung player if they pull this shit again.

Default Yes please!

Yes please! I have a large collection of 2 hour tracks, and although the fast-forward on the T10 is very good, it's a pain in the arse to find a particular song if I want to jump to it.

Cheers,
Rich

Default Joined the forum so I could support audio bookmarks

I want them too. I listen almost exclusively to books or podcasts. I do like the feature that lets me speed the sound up.
