It doesn't mean that at all, just means it's more powerful, you don't need much output power for the SE530's to begin with, that's not what you should be looking at to judge which will give you the best quality paired with them. There's really no way to say much in that department at this point, the Cowon D2 does have a bass roll-off problem with low impedance, maybe it's been addressed in their new players.

You may find that the se530s hiss with the d2 with out amp, I sold mine but you can ask dfkt or enzo to make sure, they still have theirs.

if happen to have SDHC slot, not sure if it can support up to the 32GB SDHC. If can, that will be 64GB altogether lol.
