Default Multi Fiio Amps

What will happen if I connect few Fiio amps together? Any ideas?

Why would you want to do that anyways?

Amplifying an amplified signal that has been amplified... sounds like a good recipe for a guitar distortion pedal.

I have a Cowon D2 with volume reaching 30+ sometimes. It sounds like it will really drain the battery fast. So i was hoping the amps can take some load away. And I love bass!

Wow... what phones do you use? For most phones below 100 Ohm that volume would make my head explode. Volume 30 is almost loud enough to drive my 300 Ohm Sennheiser HD650.

The volume really isn't a major factor for battery drain - screen backlight and SD card access is. I wouldn't worry about that - I'm using volume 34 all the time with my Headsix amp and the battery holds up just fine.

If you love bass, just turn up the Mach3Bass setting on the D2 - it's very good, far better than EQ or other player's sound enhancements.

The FiiO amp will not increase the sound but improve the bass. If you want to increase the volume and improve the bass then I suggest to get an amp like the hornet.

It boosts the overall volume by about 7-8dB, which is more or less "twice as loud". But indeed, that's not what this amp is about.

Didn't know it increases the volume also. Damn, for $8.00, how could one go wrong? That's it, I'm getting one now.

But does anyone really know what will happen if the amps are connected together?

I am using a earphone that u all should laugh at. A Sony Ericsson earpiece. Bass is not that bad.

I think i still cannot get enough bass. I tuned Mach3Bass to 10 and the EQ setting is 12 for the first and cuts for the 2nd to 4th.

Does anyone recommend trying cx300 for bass? How about Koss Spark Plugs? Or maybe "the Plug" is better?

I do not have the CX300's, but the FX66's are great in my opinion.

Spark Plugs: Out
Koss The Plug: out
Both of the above produce bloated bass, which ios bad. And to think, I used to use them.

The two best inexpensive IEMs that I have experience with that provide a nice, clean, deep bass are the Senns CX300 and the V-Moda Bass Frequency. I especially like the Bass Frequency because it sounds a bit darker than the CX300 and provides less hearing fatigue, IMO.

No, I haven't, but think about this: For a few dollars more than the Plug or Spark Plugs, you can reach bass Nirvana with the Bass Frequency.

Can amplified sound be amplified again? Will the bass really be better if it is reprocessed?
