I have had a look and canít find any similar posts on this forum; so hear goes.
My P2 is only 3 weeks old and today it seems to have stopped being touch sensitive! But saying that it will let me scroll but not select or go back. If I run my finger or thumb along the screen it will select something at random but then wont go back. Any suggestions as what my next move should be?

I'm wondering if there is a way to reset it or reload the firmware. Other than that, being it's a new purchase you might need to return it for a working one.

i JUST read this article on gizmodo on touchscreens http://gizmodo.com/5036516/giz-expla...d-touchscreens

the p2 is capacitive touch, and the touch is regsitered with some sort of electric current (accordin to the article)...so...i hope this article helps
if not, its only 3 days old, exchange it for a new one=P

When I received my P2 I had the same exact problem. I sent it back to Samsung and they fixed it supposedly by "updating" the firmware. It worked fine for two months. All of a suddon on Wed night the touch screen no longer works again. I have tried the reset button many times but that does nothing. I am going to call Samsung and send it in again. If it happens again I am gong to demand another one. To answere the O.P.'s question call samsung and send it back is the only reall remedy.
