samsung yp-t9jqby frozen screen

i have a samsung yp t9jqby mp3 player...screen is frozen and don't know how to shut it off or get out of it....plugged it in....reboot the comp..hoping it would pick it up and shut the mp3 off..but doesn't work..and won't pick up on the comp anymore since error of the "frozen screen" please help me out here...very desperate.....thanks

Did you try the reset procedure listed in the manual?

hold (record A/B) and (menu) button at the same time
