Playlist tutotial and Emodio Questions

Hi this is my first post here. I have searched everywhere for playlist tutorials and such.

The way i use my P2 is just transfering folders with the songs. I have a few general questions, and i apologize since some of them are not related to each other.

1) What is the deal with the mood of your songs, can you automate playlists for the moods?
2) Sometimes while transfering Emodio just lags on "Pending" and it just doesnt transfer, so i have to reboot Emodio. Any ideas?
3) To me playlists are like in winamp just the list of songs that link to the files and plays them. As far as i figured in Emodio, when i create a new playlist and transfer it, it will transfer the files and what i want is the following: I have 10 folders of songs in my P2, i want a mix of those songs for my work or my travelling. I tried it and transfer it but what it did transfer was the songs too. Is there any tutorial for playlists for begginers?
