Picked up a YP-S2 Samsung "pebble" MP3 player at Big Wtoday for $47.
As my 30GB iPod will be exchanged (battery started plasying up)-maybe next week, I got this player to use in the meantime. Quick impression: Red body is shiny and really nice to hold in the hand. UMS-so works on Macs. Included earphones are good and nicely designed. Some comparisons with iPod shuffle: Battery life-13hrs, about the same. Interface just as easy but a playlist can be done on the device itself SQ-Better because their DNSE technology has 3 sound effects-concert, studio, normal-wish Apple would include a EQ option in iPod shuffle preferences in the next revision.
