Default New Firmware v1.02.01 Available

New firmware is available for the Zen X-Fi. The new firmware, version 1.02.01, provides improved X-Fi audio performance. This is the second firmware update release for the Zen X-Fi, superceding v1.01.02.

Enzo does say in his review (here) that the new firmware does "change" the sound of the X-Fi. Whether or not it is an improvement would be up to the individual. Most I've heard from seem to like the change.

does anyone know where i can still download this firmware version?

every link i found doesn't work anymore or leads to version 1.03.01.....

i received my player already with 1.03.01 on it and i just want to know how x-fi sounds on previous versions?

thx for help!
