Default Touch screen has moisture in it.

Two problems with my bro's D2, but it lasted longer than I thought it would. First problem was when you shake it, you can hear the battery moving around inside, doesn't really cause any trouble just kind of lame.

The bigger and more serious problem is that the touch screen layer feels as if its separated from the LCD layer, so theres a gap when you use the touch screen, and when you turn it off and press on it then it looks as if theres moisture under it. It has made the touch screen less sensitive, but it still works OK. Its never gotten wet, aside from sweat from being in ones pocket.

Anyone else had this problem? Or even seen it before?

I got something like that on my screen. A small dot that looks like petrol on water (i'm trying to describe the colors ). Anyway - it is not moisture. It's some defect. But it doesnt seem to change the sensitivity of my screen, and I can barely see the dot. I see it only when I look on the screen with acompaniment of very strong light and I have to get the right angles to notice it.

I have no idea how to get rid of it... I guess warranty service could do the trick... If you find any way to fix this, please write about it

good luck,
G

Yeah, its got that color to it when I touch, but I can actually FEEL the play in the touch screen. When I press on it then it goes down and presses against the LCD then it will register that I'm touching it.

RMA it and get a replacement if you can. Hope it's not a broken screen though - did you have a case on it?

No it doesn't have a case on it. To be honest, I'm very surprised it has lasted as long as it has, I expected it to break much sooner than it has. And it still works, somewhat. If it gets worse though than it wont be usable. Guess I'll have to RMA it along with my U2(died and I don't know why) and possibly my U3, I ran it through the washer, but haven't tested to see if it works still yet.
