The Zen V can be a liitle picky when it comes to AC charging. Those USB chargers can be "hit or miss" as well. What's the rated output specs of that adapter you linked too above?

It's really up to you. Most people post to get help with problems so that is always reflected in forums more so than anything.
What kind charger exactly?

i used it for my samsung yp-k5 ![]() is ask this because i saw a creative travel charger, only for zen the creative zen power adapter, wich is like 30 euro if i only can use the creative zen adapter, i won't buy it because i'm buying the zen because its so cheap, its better to spend the 30 euro on a other mp3 player wich CAN use normal travel charger Last edited by shiftsix; 07-13-2008 at 10:10 AM. |

I believe the Zen V suffers from the same USB charging requirement as the Micro line of players. See this thread and post for more details.

It can also come in handy if you decide to ever get a different Creative model of player as well.
(Even though the newer Zen/X-Fi doest have this unique charging requirement).

mine says, 5.5v 500mA plus/minus 50mA
so, will it work? i'm a bit confused and i know the creative charger will work, but the thing is i'd rather spend the 30 bucks on another mp3 player |

Most likely no since many USB chargers does have the data connections (power connections only) required to initiate proper charge.
