Since I have got my Sansa View, I have issues with H.264 and WMV videos. I have even emailed SanDisk about these issue too.
I am not worried about WMV videos. The issue with WMV video is just the video freezes up once in a while. The H.264 issue is a container issue. If you download QuickTime Small from Revision3, the View will say it is "Unsupported Media Format" when the codec is right. This issue has been around since 1.01.06. I though the 1.03.02 firmware might have fixed this issue since I have emailed them, but it has not. Here is GSpot info on a working video: ![]() Here is GSpot info on a not working video:

anyway the resolution of the second video is incorrect it should be 320x240 not 320x180, that would disable the video from being played

It is possible that the VIEW does not like the Quicktime Codec. I have always found QT rather flakey and unstable. QT does not play well with development software, ie MS Visual studio 2005/2008. Because of this I never install QT. I always use a substitute Try downloading "Real Alternative" (http://www.meevy.com/2006/10/09/real...eal-player/)or the K-Lite codec pack. This has replacment codecs for QT.
I also noticed that on the video that does not work you have a resoultion of 320x180, I don't know if this resoution it compatiable with the VEIW. In short try a using different codec or change the resolution and see if that works. good luck, Leviathsin |

If you look at the Small WMV, it is the same size as the Small Quicktime. The Small WMV plays, but the video freezes up once in a while.
It is could be something with QuickTime H.264 codec, but from what I am reading, it might not be. If you read up on AVC1, it is a standard H.264. http://wiki.multimedia.cx/index.php?title=AVC1 |

I have found that some podcasts will play when dragged and dropped. Among them are 360 with anderson cooper, aska ninja, in case you missed it from cnn, geek brief tv, and one other I can't remember right now.
