Default Graham Slee Voyager: thoughts?

I own a Cowon iAudio 7 with Klipsch Images. I'm in the market for a headphone amp and am wondering if anyone has experience with the Graham Slee Voyager. I'm trying to get feedback contrasting the Voyager against Meier's CORDA XXS and the RSA Hornet.

I appreciate any and all thoughts.

The Grahm Skee Voyager is much more impressive...

EnzoTen, hardly a hijack! Thanks for your feedback. I found a better source website for the Graham Slee Products, specifically The Voyager.

I'm a bit confused. I've been researching amps for a month and just heard of this model yesterday. Yet my research tells me that it is a very well built product. Is it simply unpopular, ugly, new, untested, what? I cannot figure out why it doesn't receive similar press as RSA, Meier-Audio or HeadAmp.

I'd love to hear more opinions, or EnzoTen, an extended opinion about this amp. By the way, what is the "about page" you referred to?

You mean this one? The link is all the way down at the bottom of each page here, right side.

Its big, and its plastic...

I think most people just prefer to get a metal amp.

The Voyager is comparable in size to the 2move, but the 2move is heavier as its case is made entirely of thick aluminum. I have a DIY Cmoy amp built into the same kinda case that the Voyager uses. Atleast by the look of it.

If you want a nice metal case for DIY, you can get them through www.partsexpress.com, a quick search pulled: Penn-Elcom R1197/200 or Hammond 1590A Aluminum Diecast Case

ZenChick and EnzoTen - I get it. Now. I'm slow, but trainable. OK, so it's not going to make it into the interior design section of the Smithsonian, but the Voyager's components seem top notch. Anyone online own one?

EnzoTen - is it forbidden for administrator folks to talk up their own line of gear? I'm simply curious why I haven't seen more about it here. Running an abi forum search brings forth a barren desert (and my query).

I am Grahm Skee, the dude that makes those amps is Graham Slee (two letter difference). If i made a cool amp, i would totally talk it up. =D -I just threw that out there because i get kidded about it. Sorry to derail your thread =)

And I'm supposed to be a fairly smart guy. Y'all got me coming and going. OK. now I have it straight. Grahm Skee, you are EnzoTen and not Graham Slee. ZenChick, you are as confused as me or leading me astray. And I still need to decide on a headphone amp.

And the wheel turns . . .

I think the first 3 you mentioned in your other thread are an excellent short list.

WalkGood, you mean the Hornet, CORDA XXS and Pico? I am beginning to understand that the Pico is backlogged six months. I'm afraid I'm just not that patient, which brings me down to Ray Samuel Adams and Meier-Audio. Of the two, which company uses better components?

ZenChick - what can I say, you are in good company.

Seeing that you stated a dac wasn't important in another post, price/component value ... I'd go with the meier corda headsix.

I don’t think the pico is backlogged more than 1 1/2 months, but call Justin to check for sure …
