Sounds like a speck of dust! or could be a dead pixel, can you move it around with your finger?

did you buy it recently? if so, take it back to the store I'm sure they will replace it. I release one for a dead pixel two days after I bought it

but i already changed the region and it doesnt seem worth it. but i dont think its a dead pixel because if i u look at it it seems like its stuck to the outer screen but not on the outside part.

I have something stuck to my screen as well. Pisses me off because I can't seem to get rid of it and it's right in the middle of the screen.

No it's definitely something stuck to the underside of the screen.

I think it's safe to open it, mine still works .

Read this document from samsung; http://rapidshare.com/files/12745938...disas.pdf.html

I only did 4.1 but not removed it completely, just enough so I could remove the dirt.
