I prefer J-Style so i can run it down my shirt, but either one is okay.

I've been using J-style since like forever, probably since I got my first tape Walkman so I am used to them. It is useful with remotes too and I can keep my player in my pocket. I don't mind Y-style, but much prefer J-style.
