Hey, all! After both getting a Fuze and having my old Vision:M die on me, I was in the market for a good, low-capacity flash player with a good build quality, decent sound, and overall bang for the buck. Basically, a solid new workout device/Fuze understudy. The Sansa Express fit the bill perfectly, and I just got my 2GB player today. The best thing: it has a microSD card slot too! So, if anything (God forbid) happened to my Fuze, then I could at least reuse my 8GB microSDHC and have a 10GB Express. Perhaps when I get that freebie microSD card from the deal they had with the Fuze (this was talked about a bit in the Fuze section), then I can pop that in. Splendid!
![]() Anyway, as you can see, I'm clearly happy from my first nine or ten hours of ownership. I just have to ask you guys: is there anything important I should know, or perhaps do to really get the most out of this thing? Keep in mind, this is very general and open-ended... ![]() P.S. - Got a nice Cruzer 2GB flash drive at Staples the other day for under $20...I think this means I'm on a SanDisk craze, but not without a great deal of thought.

Chensington, congratulations on the new player ... seeing you have a fuze and the sq is sooo good on them, how do you find the sq on the express? Oh and btw, what phones you using?

Meh, right now I'm just using some Sony street-style headphones that are pretty solid for the price (~$15), but I ordered some JVC Marshmallows which should come in the mail sometime this week. So, I really can't tell a difference at this point, although they're both very good. I'm thinking of reviewing both players sometime soon, although the Fuze would obviously come first, since I've had it for over a month at this point, versus less than a day for the Express.

A quick update: I have the Marshmallows now, and although they're surely not entirely burned in, I still don't think there's any significant difference between the two players. I think they both sound really great, and this is coming from a former Creative Zen Vision:M owner (well, I still own the darn thing, but it just doesn't work!).
Also got to put my freebie microSD card in the Express, giving it a good 25% more capacity. Funny thing though...I have two of them!
