Varying fast-foward speed between models and or firmware versions

I have both a m230 and a brand new m250, and have noticed that fast-forward on the m250 accelerates the longer I hold the button down. This allows me to fast forward to the middle of 3 hour long track in just seconds. I would very much like to have this feature on my older m230, The firmware versions are v1.3.0a on the m230 and v4.1.08 on the m250. I am asking if anyone else has noticed this? and knows of anyway to add that to my older m230.

I think there is no way to add it to your old since your old one has different hardware. Your old one is a Telechip based and your new one is AMS based. So please do not try the firmware from your new one on your old. I do not know if Sandisk is making updates for the older ones.
