Default replaygain and cue files

if i replaygain a cue/file with foobar (it adds the replaygain values to the cue not the file) will rockbox use them on playback? using the "show track info" and "browse cuesheet" menu items neither shows
the replaygain values, for a single track rip the "show track info" shows them so i am not sure if they are being used or not.

No, it won't. If you want to process individual tracks, simply split the file. Rockbox supports gapless playback anyway, so generally speaking there's not much reason not to split your tracks.

thanks for the reply, also is a specific version of tags required for RG to be recognised? another album scanned by the latest foobar doesn't seem to have replaygain in rockbox but the tags are there (had id3v2 at first but i added id3v1 as well and it still doesn't work)

Any ID3v2 is fine for MP3, and yes foobar's replaygain scanner works fine.

in the advanced options there is an option called "id3v2 writer compatibility mode" and with that ticked it works, i don't remember having to use that option on the older versions of foobar although i cant say i didn't as i have not used my own pc in more than a week
